Troop 25 of Pelham, NH is chartered by the First Congregational Church. Scouting began in Pelham with this troop in the 1930’s. The Lt. Elmer G. Raymond Memorial Park is named after a member of the troop who’s life was lost during WWII. His surviving friends, former scouts, sought to remember Lt. Raymond and his love of scouting by renaming what “everyone” called the “Scout Lot” after him. The lodge on that property was built and expanded by scouts in the 50’s and 70’s. Today scouts of various units enjoy the legacy that began with our troop. In the past few years, we’ve visited many exciting places. To name just a few:

  • Acadia National Park
  • Mt. Cadillac
  • Mt. Monadnock
  • Nantucket
  • New York City
